2011 mini Internet recovery - Loin?

Hi all,

I had to do an emergency recovery on my 2011 Mac mini last week but it installed Lion and then I had to install Maverics again, is there any way in the future to do an internet recovery direct to Maverics?

Mac mini (Mid 2011), OS X Mountain Lion, 2.7GHz i7, 8GB RAM, 250GB SSD

I do not think so since the Apple article

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4718

says:

If you use Internet Recovery to reinstall OS X, it installs the version of OS X that originally came with your computer. After installation is finished, use the Mac App Store to install related updates or later versions of OS X that you have previously purchased.

I made a bootable Mavericks install SD card. I just boot from that if I have to reinstall the OS,

I used http://liondiskmaker.com/

to make the bootable SD installation card
