Run that app - it will scan your hard drive and list out where your space has gone.

Do not delete anything yet - take a screenshot and post it here first. Then one of us can let you know which folder(s) to start with.

I would backup my Mac and follow Lyssa's advice before deleting any files or folders you are unsure you do not need.
