    iTP ...iTunesProducer ?

If you intend to publish your book to the iBooks store. you first need four screenshots and one image of your cover page.  If its a paid book you may chose to create a sample or preview book, or let iTP choose one for you. Not required for free books.

To publish your book, open it in iBA and click on the Publish icon in the top menu and it will guide you through the process.

I have done all that. It didn't say anywhere that I had to have four screen shots - I had 3. I will check to see if it makes a difference.

As I wrote in my reply, you  need to PUBLISH from iBooks Author - which will open iTunesProducer.

When you export your book from iBA, which option did you select?   the window shows, iBook, PDF or Text only

You should  have selected the first option iBook
