Q: I rebooted my iPhone and now it is stuck in a loop (Apple logo on blue screen pops up and the disappears).  Recovery mode made it start the loop again. Help.

I read in another post that there should be a status bar on my phone but it's just blinking on and off. My phone screen does not match the screen shots in the help section.  There is a status bar in iTunes on my computer and showing Downloading 1 item iPhone Software Update (3 hours remaining). The status bar is progressing.  Should I just leave my phone alone even though it just keeps blinking?
