It just has this black screen, and everything else is working fine. if I take a picture, it doesn't show up. I can still look at the pictures, but it acts as if it's not fully loading... and it's been like this for two weeks now.
do you guys have any way of helping me fix it?

thank you so much for the help! but the problem is, i tried all isight troubleshoot procedures, and it still is not working. and also, none of the "more like this" is related

To fix your iSight, shut down computer. Reboot in safe mode (press power button and then hold shift key down). After computer boots, restart again. Hopefully, your iSight will start working again.

Boot up from your Snow Leopard Install DVD while holding down the "c" key.
Select the language you wish to use, and then choose "Disk Utility" from the menu bar.

Unless you have a current backup of your Mac, make one now.
Then use the final "Troubleshooting" suggestion:
"... contact Apple's MacBook Pro Support or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service."
