How do I circle text in Pages?

Or if you want to draw a circle around a word: Insert a Circle Shape and choose Fill > None. Then drag the empty circle (grab the line, not the empty inner part) and drag it over your word.

Or if the word is all by itself, just type it in the circle, which is actually a text box.

You mean run text in a circle I assume? Not put a circle around selected text?

Use ArtText

Or any drawing program. Pages doesn't do it itself.
