Hi Ally,

I have a polishing kit and use Cerium Oxide for removing scratches from glass. Although I have used this very sucessfully on thick aquarium glass, and an oven glass, both were deep scratches, it is far from suitable on things like an ipad.

I recommend that you get the screen glass replaced at a reuptable repair centre. The ipad has a fingerprint coating on top of the glass as well, so you have no option really.

Hope that helps.

Hi Ally,

Unfortunately no, only either get the ipad glass replaced professionally or sell it and buy another one.

There is one option you can try, which is a quality PET jap screen protector from the likes of amazon. I have seen people reporting that once fitted it can obscure certain scratches and will also prevent further ones.

Make sure it's the quality japanese type and get it pro fitted.

It may resolve your issues depending how noticable the scratches are.

Type in "Apple iPad Repair" in Google search block. Look for the nearest repair center. If there are none near\

you you can mail it. Call first to get any special instructions, as there are independent repair businesses that\

are not official Apple repair centers, but can replace broken screens. If you or a friend are really handy, there\

are repair kits with official Apple parts available on Amazon, and several other internet stores. Use search on \

YouTube to find tutorials to ascertain difficulty. If you mail your iPad, use the original box and put it in a USPS\

box with bubble wrap. Do not include any cord, iPad case or accessories as you won't get them back. Also,\

you ought to insure it, and put your name phone number and address in the box, and your name on a piece\

of masking tape on the back of the iPad . Mailing labels work too.}
