Movies folder deleted my downloaded non-itunes movies?

I had a movies folder under my username and it contained personal videos as well as movies that I have downloaded from the internet and other sources. That folder has been purged somehow and has things in there only from the past 2 weeks instead of 7 years. My Time machine does not have the files or even a movies folder for that matter, going back 2 years, tho it does seem to have everything else. I just upgraded my computer back in Oct to the latest iMac running Mavericks, restored it using my time machine backup and the files were not deleted by me. No one else uses my computer and there are no outside programs I run except for cleanmymac and monolingual.

This is so frustrating please help!

How much sponsorship do you give them for the links and reviews? Not much left to say really, is there? You are looking shadier all the time coming here to flog your dubious and destructive software. But I'm sure there are others lining up to have a crack at you also.

Cheers
