I've only had this iPod for about a year. I got it last Christmas as a gift, but I didn't use it until the following June. it's been fine up until last night when it cut off in the middle of a song on my way home from work. since, it's been a mixture of hard resetting itself over and over, skipping through some of my songs a few seconds in? not being recognized by iTunes, and iTunes hasn't been restoring it very well. and now that it has been restored, it's saying it has 0 KB of free space out of 148 GB's. I tried Disk mode and everything. I just did the diagnostic test and saw how high my reallocs were and I have no idea what most of this stuff means, but I know a high reallocs is bad. I have NO idea what I could've done to make those numbers as high as they are. I use this daily, but I do it very gingerly. I rarely drop it and I keep it away from environments where it could get wet, cold or overheat. is there anything can I do? like anything to fix it? also, do you think there's a way Apple can just give me a new one?

iPod classic, iOS 7.0.4
