I've backed up my iPad and lost a years worth of work in Pages. Is there any way to get it back? I had done file sharing between iPad and Mac but it only saved one of the Pages documents.

I've backed up and updated my ipad and lost a years worth of work in Pages. Is it possible to get it back? Before I updated I tried to do filesharing with my Mac but it would only share 1 document from Pages. All the others have gone.
