Q: itunes bought on black friday not properly activated..

I am not sure what the heck to do! I bought my kids itunes gift cards on black friday it was 4 $15 for $50. Well Santa put them in their stockings and when we tried to redeem them they come up as not properly activated. I got them from Target so I didnt keep my receipt since they can look items up with credit card. Since Santa brought them an ipad for Christmas this was the first time I have bought itunes gift cards and didnt even know how to redeem them until after Christmas my sister showed me. I took them to Target explained what happened, the first time the man found them on my credit card but he had to do something and I had to pick my kids up from school so decided I would come back. Went back about a week later, he was on vacation and then they couldnt find it on my credit card I sent a thing to itunes support and they want a copy of the receipt which I dont have, not sure what the heck to do! Also I am trying to do this without my kids around which is why it is taking so long. Trying to explain to the kids that Santa brought you gift cards that dont work is tricky

Any help or suggestions I would really appreciate!!!

I cant find a telephone number to call either.

Only Target or the iTunes Store could help with this, and as you have found out the iTunes Store will require a copy of the receipt. They require this to prevent someone from just shoplifting a bunch of cards off the rack in a store and then claiming that the cards were legitimately purchased but the store didn't activate them.

If you can't provide a receipt, then the ITunes Store won't be able to help you. If Target, whose fault it is, won't help you either, then sorry to say but those cards will be useless.

    Regards.
