Q: I am unable to download itunes to my Dell laptop. The error message is the MSCVR 80dll file missing. I have taken it to two different tech centers and they are unable to reinstall itunes. any help for me?

I can't find an appropriate serial number to get help because I don't have an Apple laptop. I have a Dell laptop that I am trying to download itunes into. It was previously installed but an update failed and now the message is that a dll fine is missing. MSCVR 80 dll. Now all my music is held hostage by my Dell. HELP PLEASE??

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
