Dear support desk, yesterday I redeemed 2 x iTunes gift cards 1 for £25.00 and 1 for £15.00 onto my Itines account . It showed me a redemmed balance of £40.00. I today tried to purchased some music but they are not there?

I redeemed iTunes vouchers onto my iTunes account and was shown a balance of £40.00, when I signed in today to redeem a value for purchase of music at £6.99, it said that I could not do so and wanted me to nput my credit card details. Why can I not use the redeemed voucher values?

Please be aware that you are not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. These are user-to-user support forums, so in almost all cases the only people who will reply to your posts are, like me, your fellow users. As such you should not post any personal details.

As to your problem, if it's just asking you to confirm your billing information, that's a normal security precaution that comes up from time to time. Just do so and you should be fine. If it insists on a credit card, or your credit balance is incorrect and you're sure you're in the iTunes Store account through which those cards were redeemed, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

Regards.
