iTunes started charging for Free Single of the Week

iTunes started charging for Free Single of the Week song to my registered CC. Why are they all of a sudden charging for songs cleary marked "Free iTunes Song of the Week". I have a registered CC but it has never tried to charge it for a free download and I've been downloading Free iTunes Song of the Week for years and today Apple is charging me. Anyone having or had this issue? If so please let me know how you resolved it

Mac mini (Mid 2011), Mac OS 9.1.x

If you're certain you downloaded the single while it was still marked as being free, go here:

http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. They should be able to verify by the date and time of the purchase and refund the incorrect charges.

thx varjak but I always canceled b4 downloading bc the charge would occur and will not DL if the notice pops up that my card will be charged
