Feb 4, 2014 6:48 PM in response to Praetoryanby Ralph Landry1,★HelpfulI had looked at the on-line store also, meant the physical retail store may be able to work with you on it.
I once bought a replacement iPad charger that came with the power cord (same as the MacBook power cord) so that was much less than the $79 MagSafe rig.

Feb 4, 2014 8:33 PM in response to stevejobsfan0123by Praetoryan,I don't expect it to be genuine. Heck I'll be lucky if it works, however this'll get me by until I figure out something else. I would love to get the genuine article, but I don't want to buy the whole MagSafe rig. All I need is the AC cord portion of it, unless you know where I can get the real deal. Please let me know if you do.

Feb 5, 2014 5:13 AM in response to Praetoryanby Ralph Landry1,★HelpfulLike I said, only place I know is an Apple store and giving it a chance that they just may be willing to sell a cord. Of course, selling the whole charger for $79 is far more profitable
But if you have something that works for now you will have some time to ask around at official Apple suppliers and see what happens.
