Why won't iTunes download onto my windows 8 or even windows 8.1? I don't get any error messages, it just simply does absolutely nothing.

WHen I hit download itunes, it goes to the Thanks for downloading itunes page, but nothing happens.

Try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

I have been going nuts trying to download iTunes in my new PC Windows 8.1.p

I went thru many, many, many sites and forums and followed quite a few suggestions but nothing worked out . . . UNTIL I followed your one suggestion, which worked like a charm.

I installed Firefox and searched for www.apple.com, then downloaded from what looked like the same site I have seen many, many, many times before BUT THIS TIME IT WORKED!!!
