Feb 6, 2014 11:48 AM in response to Lasselarssonby MlchaelLAX,If your Mac is old enough (about 2011 or older), then partition your hard drive (or add an external hard drive) and install Snow Leopard into it. Then use the Startup Manager in System Preferences or hold down the OPTION key when rebooting to "dual-boot" into Mavericks or Snow Leopard as needed, and continue to use Appleworks in Snow Leopard.
If your Mac is newer and another option is to install Snow Leopard Server into Parallels and have Appleworks operate concurrently with Mavericks:

Mar 2, 2014 9:10 PM in response to Lasselarssonby Appaloosa mac man,Remember that the most successful way to preserve data is to export it to a generic file structure. Newer software will not import every type of older software files. Post back with more detail about the destination software.
