I recently created an Apple ID for the iTunesU, but it keeps telling me my login info is wrong.

My school is running an iTunes U group. I just joined. Everyone is having trouble logging in. Every time I try to login to the site manager it says my login info is incorrect, but it isn't. And others are having the same problem. Any clues?
