OK to stack display on G5 tower?

I'm going to have to start making room for the new desktop Mac, and thinking about how to do that. For a variety of reasons including pure sentimentality, I will NOT be ditching my Power Mac G5. A simple way to accommodate would be to put its monitor on top of it. Anyone know any reason I shouldn't do that? (No, not a vintage CRT display 🙂 —it's a 24" Dell LCD screen.)
