iTunes U failing on iPad 3

Hi there,

Since last updates (I'm not sure which one exactly) I'm not able to download content if it's big, the videos get stoked around 250Mb and sometimes the whole device is frozen, or even re-started. I've even re-installes iTunes U with no luck

The same content I'm able to download from a Mac, so it seems a problem related to iOS. BTW, I'm using iOS 7.0.4

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a workaround or a date to fix this?
