USB 3.0 PCI Express Card NEC-Chip with MBP OSX 10.6.8 not working

Hi all,

there's a workaround to get in touch with USB3.0 via PCI Express Card via using Lacie USB3.0 with kext-helper and a modified kext "PXHCD". They say it works for all NEC-chipsets so I installed first the Lacie-driver for 10.6.8, restarted, installed the kext PXHCD which I found now at mac/Library/Extensions, restarted again.

The PCI Express Card is shown at the icon bar in the right corner (first line: grey-scaled "USB Controller", second line: "turn off card"), when I connect a USB3-HD its not mounting :-(

Specifications:

MBP early 2008

OSX 10.6.8

Delock 61760 Express Card with NEC chipset

Hitashi HD 200GB in a USB3 case

USB3 cable

The Hitashi mounts normal when plugged in a USB2 port.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
