Q: Why aren't my emojis working??

I have an iPhone 5s and within the past few days, every time I use and emoji on an app (twitter, massaging, ig, snapchat, ect.) the app closes without warning or explanation... Why is this happening?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary
