Problem when starting up an iMac HELP!

I need help, I have an Imac. And I'm having problems when i turn it on.

After the typical sound of the mac and the gray screen with the apple, it gets stuck. I can not enter into the system. Any idea?

Sometimes I also get a black square on the screen (look the picture).
