Q: My iCloud Calendar on my PC has gone blank

I have happily been using iCloud Calendar on my PC for about 6 months now.  Everything has synced beautifully between my PC and my iPhone up until today when I went to look at my iCloud Calendar on my PC and it was completely blank?

I share a calendar with my husband, and it has also gone blank on his Mac laptop (but his iPhone calendar is still there like mine).

Any ideas?

Thank you so much!

We have also had the same problem since yesterday.  The calendars on our iPhones are syncing correctly.  However the iCloud calendar when viewed using Firefox is mostly blank.  There a few entries scatterred around but not many.  If I use Internet Explorer, I get an error messge that iCloud calendar is not working and nothing is displayed.

Yes Brian, exactly the same thing happened to me when I tried to open iCloud Calendar in Internet Explorer instead of my usual Google Chrome.

I too have had the same problem, which began on Feb 5 and continues on Feb 6. The calendar on my iPhone is fine. But the iCloud calendar when viewed using Chrome is mostly blank. This has been observed using two different computers. Oddly enough, iCloud calendar on my PC will still display alerts, even though it is not displaying the event that has the associated alert. It seems that the calendar data is in iCloud, but it's just not being displayed when viewed on a computer. The iCloud Contacts and Reminders don't have the same issue as the Calendar.

I am not getting an error message when logging in with IE (version 9.0.8112), but have the same behaviour as in Firefox - some items not showing up.  A repeating event (scheduled Mon-Fri) shows up fine for this week, but next week only the Monday and Wednesday events are showing up.  I keep switching views/date viewed while I type this, and have somehow managed to get Thursday to show up.  Calendar on iPhone, as with the people above me, has been working just fine.

I have duplicated the issue on three computers, with Firefox/IE, and with two separate iCloud accounts.

My iCloud Calendar also went blank on PC with both Chrome and IE - on Feb 5 and continues on Feb 6.

Only events that show up is a single repeating event for the next few weeks . . .

All blank for February and all forward dates, and all of January 2014, and all of December 2013

However - all events in past, from 11/30/2013 and back do show up !

I am having the same problem since the 5th as well. I tried different browsers with no luck. Some of my events are there but most of them are missing until April 2014, then they reappear. I have it on the phone and ipad but not PC icloud.com. This is a huge inconvenience. I need this fixed asap!

It seems like this all happened to us yesterday (the 5th)??

Yes, the 5th.  Unlike posting above yours, mine do not "reappear" in April.  I can see what I was doing as far back as January 2011 through November 2013, but I appear to have no future.  Good thing my calendar is not a fortune cookie !!!

Can't seem to get any support from Apple - unless someone has a new device still under 90 day support - - I can't even find a way to let "them" know we have this problem happening, let alone ask for help to get it fixed.

Adding to the thread, same issue here and it started on the same date I believe.  Calendars on phone are accurate but calendars on laptops are not.

Looks like an Apple issue perhaps?  Am I missing a resolution here?

This is not good! Solutions welcomed!

Well, I went and chatted with Apple support about this yesterday.  The person I chatted with was... shall we say, less than stellar - he had me download a backup of my iCloud (don't normally use Outlook, just iCloud.com and iPhone), and then delete the calendar.  Why this was his first solution, I have no clue.  Why I didn't question him on it, again I have no clue.  But, with the calendar deleted, he proceeded to tell me that oh, they removed the import feature from iCloud.com.  File imported fine into Google Calendar, but gives a bunch of errors when importing into Outlook.  Long story short, I'm working with the second tier tech support to try to get my calendar back (and without stuff missing).

As far as this problem goes, according to him it is a 'temporary server issue' that should resolve itself. with no action required on our side (except patience).

Thank you everyone for sharing.  Please post if anyone has a solution, I've wasted countless hours trying to fix this as I'm sure you all have!  I will try and visit a Genius Bar at the weekend if we don't get to the bottom of this today...

Katy - I spent about an hour this morning in a chat with Apple Support.  They appeared to have no knowledge that a problem exists, so I basically just spend time answering a series of questions, never really got to any resolution. However, I think sufficient cages were rattled so that they do know of the issue and have sufficient details to be able to fix.  I suppose I'll just wait a few more days to see if it gets resolved.  But, good luck with the Geniuses if you go !!

Thanks John for your time with Apple, hopefully they'll see it's a REAL problem.  I'm seeing comments appearing about this other palces on the inernet as well.
