Feb 7, 2014 10:52 AM in response to myphyveby amyruby45,Thanks so much for everyone posting to this thread. I am glad to be on one that is working toward a resolution. I am right in the middle of wedding planning and rely heavily on this calendar to be synched and working. Makes me worried if anything happened to it what I would do. At least I still have it on iphone and ipad! That's my only saving grace right now.
Keep it up everyone!
Thank you!!

Feb 7, 2014 11:22 AM in response to katyirelandby amyruby45,Things I have tried:
1. On the web version (google chrome) Account Settings -> Advanced -> Reset Documnets and Data. Closed browser, restarted all devices. Nothing changed.
2. New information DOES flow from iphone/ipad to calendar and vice versa but old items remain missing.
How I got some of the appointments to show up:
1. Went into web version and instead of loading the month view I loaded the week view. It took a LONG TIME to load (wiht the twirling circle), but all of a sudden my week filled in and the appointments were there.
2. It seems to be only the "month" tab that is having the problem displaying. My week and day show the appointments.
Try it and see if it works for you guys too!

Feb 7, 2014 11:34 AM in response to amyruby45by JohnHastings,I tried, on both Google Chrome and on IE 9, but . . .
- When I add a new item via iPad, it does show up on web calendar, but only temporarily. Goes away upon screen refresh.
- The "week" view did in fact bring up things for this week, but does not seemt to display any future (or past) weeks.
Yuk.

Feb 7, 2014 11:46 AM in response to JohnHastingsby amyruby45,I hit reload on the browser and that helped populate next weeks appointments. I continuted to do that for the rest of the month and they stayed on the monthly calendar for about 20 minutes and then dropped off again. Week view seems to continue to work with reload.

Feb 7, 2014 11:56 AM in response to amyruby45by JohnHastings,Every time I hit reload for next week, it goes back to this week. Obviously, I have no future . . .

Feb 7, 2014 1:45 PM in response to JohnHastingsby katyireland,I was "chatting" to Apple Support on Remote Advisor for two hours. Was passed to three different people. Still got absolutely nowhere. The last person seemed to be suggesting that it was something to do with my settings in Outlook. I'm sorry I'm not very technical, but I just don't understand why it would be working fine for 6 months then just stop working for no apparent reason? They are calling me back tomorrow, but I don't think I can face going through it all again : (

Feb 7, 2014 1:58 PM in response to katyirelandby JohnHastings,They are nuts . . . The only place on my PC that the calendar works properly is when I view it in Outlook !! From my viewpoint, given that I've made no changes on my PC and the iCloud thing worked for 3 years until Wednesday, it is clear it is not a setting on my (or your) computer.
Apple's lack of responsiveness on this type of issue makes me wonder if I should jump ship (again) and switch from iPad to Microsoft Surface and a Windows phone ?
Or maybe Android ??
Crazy world.

Feb 8, 2014 7:11 PM in response to JohnHastingsby Louisofm,I am also having a similar problem and it started around Feb 05. I've wasted a lot to time working on it; but to no avail. I am glad I found this thread. Now I am sure there is nothing wrong with my pc or laptop. I'll just have to wait on Apple to fix it.
Thank you everyone.

Feb 9, 2014 9:56 AM in response to bdmastersby bdmasters,The problem appears to be timing problem in the way that the data is loaded into the week and month view.
I think I have found a temporary workaround that sems to work......
I am using Firefox.
1. Go to the day view and select a day which does not have a calendar entry but should have,
2. Select 'reload' circular arrow to reload that page.
3. In my case, the calendar entries for that day now show up!
4. You can now go forward day by day restoring the entries.
This seems to be consistent.
However, if you now go back to the week view then generally, the entries seem to remain but not always.
If you go to the month view, then sometimes you see the correct entries but more often, you can lose a whole weeks worth of entries and then you have to go back to the day view above and reload them! The fact that this is not consistent indicates a timing problem.
This seems to demonstrate that the data is still in iCloud, but it is the display code that is not allowing enough time for the entries to be loaded. With a day view, there are only a few entries, so the 'reload' can display them. However, once you get to a week view or a month view, then the code is not allowing time for all of the entries to be returned before displaying them.
I hope this helps Apple find a permanent solution to this problem

Feb 9, 2014 11:23 AM in response to bdmastersby bdmasters,Adding to my note above, in the Day view, in item 2 above, you can double-click on a date in the small calendar to cause a re-load of that day.
This is not a fix, it is just a way of checking items are still in the iCloud calendar. They are still likely to disaappear if you move to a week or month view.

Feb 9, 2014 4:02 PM in response to bdmastersby katyireland,Thanks so much Brian, I just tried what you suggested and yes that works for me too (I am using Google Chrome). Thanks so much for posting!
I have a call back scheduled for Apple Support so I will be able to pass this information on to them. Somebody surely has to listen? However after my two hour "chat" to them on Thursday, I am dreading get back on the phone because they made me feel like it was me that had set up iCloud incorrectly... And they certainly didn't want to hear about the thread on this board. So frustrating!

Feb 9, 2014 4:52 PM in response to bdmastersby Shelley Marshall,Yes Brian, your solution works for me as well. When I spoke to Apple, the rep said that the iCloud "takes a little time to load" and I had no idea what she meant, as she was going on about how I should talk to Microsoft, etc, etc. I reminded her that it was an iCloud problem and she said log in now and try it . . . which I did and everything was there. But the disappearing act started again today and your solution worked ; so I guess what Apple said has some merit, but they certainly have to fix it!
