Installing imovie 08 whilst retaining imovie 06HD

I am keen to install imovie 08 as I want to use some of it's functions for specific projects but I want to retain imovie06HD on which I do most of my work. I can't quite see how to do this in the install routine. Help will be much appreciated

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Using i movie 6HD and Final Cut Ex.

Rename iMovie 6 or move it into a new folder before installing version 8 and you can use both versions.
