Exchange invitations don't show in iCal

I have a work Exchange account. When I get an invitation in Mail, it doesn't show up in iCal. Why not, and/or how do I fix it?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Thanks, Brenden, but that just says what I know is supposed to happen. What is happening is I have invitations that SHOULD show up in Notifications, but doesn't. They do show up on my iPhone, but not on my Mac.
