Q: Printing from iPad

My hp4500 printer shows connected to my home wi-fi but when I try to print from either my iPad or iPhone, message shows "no air printers found". What's up .

If your printer is network connected, you can print from your iPad. You need to download the free HP app from the app store.

By default, iOS will only print thru Air printers, which the HP 4500 is not.

However, some apps will be intelligent enouugh to see and recognize regular printers, PROVIDED they are on the same subnetwork.

What are you trying to print?
