Iphoto Update Requires Apple ID I purchased it with, but It came with my computer

So I purchased my Macbook last year and it came with Iphoto installed. I just installed the OS X Mavericks and now my iphoto wont open. I've tried updating the new Iphoto, but it keeps asking me to log in with my Apple Id that I used to purchase. ( again, I didn't purchase it, it came with my computer) Is there a way that I can get around this? I want to update my Iphoto but I don't want to buy it if It came with my computer.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Use the Apple ID you used to set up the machine.

What version of iPhoto do you currently have? This screenshot shows which versions qualify for a free upgrade to iPhoto 9.5.1:

Upgrades, from one major to another, require a purchase whereas updates within a version are free.

I have version 9.3.2.

I've tried using my Apple ID that I used to set up the machine, but it keeps asing for the one that it was purchased on.

Do you know the Apple ID and password that was used to purchase the machine? Use it.

Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues.
