Q: Remote Desktop issues

Hey all,

Don't exactly know what happened (maybe an update) but two of three machines on my network get the error, "Authentication failed to “Computer_Name”."  Whats wierd is that up untill this morning these remote sessions were working just fine.  I have verified the ports, username/password, and removed/added the computers again.  one is on 10.9, the other on 10.7.  I also did some searching on here and have already troublshot a decent amount while ussing ssh with the information found under:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2370

What I don't get is that I I can add the devices just fine on remote desktop but RD only fails authentication upon trying to connect (I see status, current user, curretn app, etc).  I'd love to learn more so that I can fix this issue so please any/all ideas are welcome.

Thanks!

Mac mini, OS X Server, 10.9

Update.  After reseting one of the two machines .plist files again seems to have helped it.  Issue still persists for my mac mini.  Heres a screen shot to show what Im seeing.  Remote dekstop sees that that machine is at the loging window but when I hit the 'control' button I get the error message, "Authentication Failed"

    Any ideas?

Have you tried removing the offending computer from your list and re-adding it via the scanner?

I have had inconsistent experiences with authentication right after our upgrades to Mavericks, but this issue could be caused by many things.

Ensure the ARD client software has not surpassed that of the admin machine's (Your photo shows different client versions), also check your client settings for any obvious config issues.
