where are the Garage Band lessons located on my MBP

where are the Garage Band lessons located on my MBP

I've downloaded the lessons for guitar to Garage Band and now I want to reclaim the space, where are the lesson files located.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Hello,

I went here but there is no LEARN TO PLAY folder

There is a folder called WORKING COPIES where the Lesson Files are located directly under the Magic Garage Band files.

I don't know if you can see this but this is where Garage Band 11, OSX 10.8.5 had the Lesson Files.

If you want to delete them people, make sure you DON'T DELET THE MGB FILES JUST

ABOVE THEM.

CLICK ON THE SCREEN SHOT TO SEE CLEAR'ER

The lessons are stored in the Library:

/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Learn to Play/

To open the folder quickly, use the Finder's "Go" menu:

Go > Go to Folder

and enter

/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Learn to Play/

into the text field.

If think you might want the lessons later, keep a backup. The lessons are not always available from the Store. Quite a few posters here had problems to download them again.

THe screenshot shows the User Library Folder and not the system Library folder. You are looking at the wrong location

THe location léonie pointed you at is the System Library folder. There you can finder the Music Lessons

System Library

/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/

User Library

"username"/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/

Interesting - my Learn to Play lessons have always been stored in a separate folder.
