iPod 4g. 3years old. Keyboard very dumb .very slow. Very poor response by the keyboard . Subway surfers getting stuck and it freezes.ipod very sow even after reinstalling the software.
iPod touch, iOS 6.1.5, It is 2 years old. Running on ios 6
try restoring the ipod- other wise your looking to buy a new ipod
Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.
Maext as necessary
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
I did that also. But no use
If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store..
My ipod 4g 3years old. It is getting slow and sometimes it gets hanged even after I restored the iPod . Subway surfers game is getting very slow and it is freezing even after I reinstalled it. Please help??????
