    iOS 7 How to Close Apps

     

    Double Tap the Home Button... Then swipe the App (not the icon) Upwards... Tap the Home Button when finished.

    If no joy...

     

    Try a Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )

     

    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons

    Do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignoring the red slider if that appears.

     

    Also, double click the home button then swipe the material that appears above the icon up and away.
