Im wondering if there is a simple way to import bookmarks from Macbook Pro to Macbook Air using Safari?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Safari>File>Export book marks

move this html file to your Air and Safari>File>Import Book marks

If you use iCloud you can synch: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4001
