At Bat MLB.TV In App Subscription Cheaper Than Purchase From Website?

I have an MLB.TV premium subscription for around 130$/year, so I can watch games via the app on my iPad/iPhone or via login on my Apple TV.

I noticed that you can purchase a "MLB TV Premium Yearly" subscription in the At Bat app for just 21.99$/year. I have a couple of questions about this and couldn't really find answers to this via Google nor iTunes etc.

Does the In App purchase contain the ability to watch every season game? Is it possible to stream from iPad/iPhone to my Apple TV if I purchase the much cheaper in app subscription? Why would I pay 130$/year instead of 22$ if I am located in the Apple ecoystem anyways (So no need to watch/stream on other devices than my Apple ones)?

I am from non-English speaking Europe and have little issues in clearly understanding the difference between those 2 options.

Contact MLB.tv and ask them. It's their app and service, they control the pricing and content availability.

Hey, did you gtet any response from MLB about this problem? I subscribed in January but can't even login to the MLB app, website, spent ages trying to sort it out with MLB for zero result, I've just emailed iTUnes support about the problem ...

no I haven't got an answer yet. I have renewed my MLB.TV subscription anyways.

I have got a quite quite quick response from them for another case, though. Your best bet is to contact them via the MLB.TV website. You will then receive a case no. If they don't reply send them a reminder witj the vase no. again,

I've emailed MLB ten times, rung them twice spending more than 50 minutes on the phone from Australia, all for zero reuslt except being told to ring Apple. I've spoken to Apple but they just say ring MLB or we can try and get you a refund.

Biggest problem with MLB appears to be that every time you email them a new case number is generated and you have to explain the problems from the beginning every time ... I just wanna watch some baseball!

I feel sorry for that, mate. Customer service seems to be overwhelmed with the spring training already taking place and the season starting soon. I guess I don't have any helpful tips for you then..
