How so I delete a song from my iPad mini music app?

I need to delete a song from my son's iPad mini. It is synced with my iTunes acct. I have gone on to my home computer and deleted the song from my library. But it still shows up on my son's iPad mini. I have successfully deleted the song from the playlist tab on his iPad, but the song still shows up and plays from the artist, song and album tabs. I can not figure out how to delete from here. I think the song was downloaded from the cloud through wifi onto his ipad and now I can't figure out how to get it off of cloud or his iPad. Please help. Of course it is a song that a 6 year old should not hear.
