Automatic Updates with Two Different Apple IDs

Hi,

For 20 of our users, we recently rolled out new iPad/iPhones that were initially configured with an Apple ID that contained their work email address.

However, some of them have changed the Apple ID on said devices to be their personal Apple IDs so their photos sync.

Given this, will the apps still auto update given they weren't "downloaded" under the Apple ID currently registered? We are also using an MDM solution from MaaS360 if that helps in any way with potential solutions.
