How do I switch off an 80Gb ipod

I have been given an old 80Gb ipod (not sure if it is a classic) but cannot find the power off button, there only seems to be the "Hold" slider switch onn the top of the ipod. Where is is the power swich?

The 80 GB iPod classic does not include a power button. To turn the unit on you will need to slide the hold switch to the off position and press the click wheel. If the iPod will not turn on, see the troubleshooting article below.
