Find Friends notifications not specific enough

Locations in Find Friends are all in the following format for UK users:

Great Britain - Embankment, London, England

Ok, so ignoring the "Great Britain" bit (hint: there's no such place, it should be UK), the problem I have is that when I set Find Friends to notify when I've left the above location, she gets a message saying that I've left "Great Britain"... which is understandably alarming!

Is there any way to avoid this, or do I need to post feedback to Apple to get this fixed?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9), 3.4HHz Intel i7, 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM
