brother 465cn to wireless modem

I am wanting to connect my MacBook Pro to a Brother MFC 465CN by connecting it to my wireless router . The printer is connected to a TimeWarner wireless router via ethernet cord. It WAS working but every once in awhile it would 'pause', but that would only last a few hours. However, when I try to print my Macbook Pro, it just won't and it's been 2 days. (I DID print 3 days ago).

I also previously have it connected via my network when the printer was connected to another computer (windows) and it did the same thing every now and then.

I have now deleted the printer after trying to reboot everything a few times and deleting & reinstalling. When I go to add the printer, what should I select? "Default", "Fax", "IP", "Windows"?? If IP, what IP do I use?

ANY help would be appreciated!!!

UPDATE **** I also just followed these instructions from the Brother website:

For Network Users:

  1. Connect your Brother machine and your Macintosh to the network.
If you have not connected the machine to your network, click here to see how to configure the Brother machine for a network.
  2. Select "System Preferences" from the Apple Menu.
  3. Click the "Printers & Scanners" icon.
  4. Click the "+" button which is located below the "Printers" section.
  5. Click the "Default" icon which is located at the top of the dialog box.
  6. Select your machine from the "Name" list.
  7. Make sure that "XXXXXXX + CUPS" is selected in the "Use" list. (Where XXXXXXX is your model name.)
  8. Click "Add". The printer is now available in the "Printers & Scanners" list.
  9. Select "Quit System Preferences" from the Apple Menu. The setup is now complete.

#6...I do NOT get anything on the "Name" list.
