Hi butherchamp,

Welcome to the Support Communities!

Airdrop for iOS - works only between iOS devices:

iOS: Use AirDrop to wirelessly share content

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5887

Airdrop for Macs only works between computers

Mac Basics: AirDrop helps you share items with others nearby

I hope this information helps ....

That worked for me, too. Thank you, soxfan04!

It was enough to simply sign out of iCloud and turn off Bluetooth on both devices. I saw no way to sign out of Keychain Access on the Mac and couldn't find any mention of Handoff on either device. When I signed back in to iCloud on the Mac, it prompted me to upgrade iCloud Drive. I accepted the upgrade.
