MacBook Pro screens stays zoomed in after connecting to Peripheral

Hello!

Not sure if anything can be done about this issue...

I have many users who connect their MacBook Pros to projectors or TVs either through a dongle or airplay. When they connect the computer screen becomes zoomed in and often stays that way even after disconnecting the peripheral. Rebooting sometimes fixes, but occasionally a couple are necessary. Is there any way to avoid this or is that just something we have to live with right now??

Thanks!
