Restoring from time machine back-up - easily.

Hi,

I had Mavericks installed, had an issue with it this past week, so, decided to do a clean-install.

Backed everything up to an external hard drive with Time Machine (mainly music).

Re-installed Mavericks.

I know from googling there's issues with restoring...can anyone give me the easiest way to do that?
