Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

I cannot find my folders or files after changing Home folder name.

I followed a guide to change the name of my home folder (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1428) It said (after logging in under "root user") to create a new login account also so I did that. I logged into the new account and my desktop seemed to have reset so it looked like it didn't work. No pronlem I thought, I would just re login to my previous account. When I did that I am faced with the same rest desktop layout, and all programs like itunes and iphoto look reset and I cannot find any files or folder any more.

Please please help, how do I return it back to my previous account? (I'm not even that fussed about the name of my home folder, I was just trying to follow an apple support guide!)

Thanks.
