configure Blue Host with Mac Mail
I have tried every which way to configue Mac Mail using what Blue Host has at
I don't know which of the four automatic options I should be using. I've tried them all.
I've got Maverick on my iMac (not listed below).
I note what it says on Blue Host that --- The "IMAP Path Prefix" needs to be set to INBOX otherwise Mail.app will not be able to store deleted, draft or sent mail on the server.
I've done that ... and got a message from Mac Mail, during set up, "your IMAP Path Prefix says 'INBOX' but it should say 'INCOMING' and we can change it if you want'. I did not change it.
Confused. A lot of time trying a lot of ways.
The Apple script always did not 'run' but I clicked so I clicked on edit. That didn't help.
I also got, a couple of times: "Can't make <class mact> 'zoetownm" of application 'Mail' into type constant" ... which is gobbledygook to me.
What to do?
