I have lost my Iphone 4 and it's in the house. I have downloaded find my phone, but can't figure out how to use it.

The iPhone must be turned on to be found, but then you can make it easy by calling the iPhone and follow the ring.
You have to have it set up on your phone and the phone has to be on - just call your phone and listen for it to ring

Do you have a Mac or other iOS device that has FaceTime? Direct that to the iPhone's number and it will make that really annoying FaceTime request signal :-)
