Q: Bluetooth Pairing Problems with Windows Computers
I purchased a Scosche Bluetooth USB Dongle for use with our households iPhones and iPad, primarily to access music from our desktop computers. One is a Windows 7 the other is XP. I cannot even get to that point because I cannot get the dongle to properly pair with either of our iPhones or iPad. This is what happens:
- Plug in dongle to computer's USB
- Software on screen recognizes iPhone/iPad
- Pin screen comes up on iPhone/iPad and matches the code created by dongle (I also tried a manual code)
- On iPhone/iPad Bluetooth screen -> Devices show "Connected"
- Once tapped, it says: Connection Unsuccessful....Computer Name is not supported
- It then only allows me to forget the device
Ok, so then it appeared to me that the computer is trying to find drivers for the iPhone/iPad, however, it doesn't do this sucessfully.
My question is, how can I install the correct drivers for my iPhone/iPad? Windows cannot find them automaticaly for some reason.
Thanks for your help!
