Q: If an app is purchased and does not work like it should, can I get refunded for it?

I am looking for a good app for my Ipad mini that can run flash. I have read some reviews on some. I have tried the free apps and they don't work like I need them to. I will have to purchase an app. If I purchase an app and it does not work like I want it to, can I get a refund? If so, how does that work.

Not liking the way that an app works is far different than the app not working as it should or as advertised.

I have a few apps that I'm not wild about they work, but they do what the they are supposed to do according to the app descriptions. Therefore, the apps work as advertised, but I just don't like them. That doesn't entitle me to a refund.

You would not be entitled to a refund under thoses circumstances either. The terms of the App Store are all sales are final and there are no refunds.

Let me reprhase the question. I am looking for an app that will run flash on my Ipad Mini - meaning that I would like for the app to run like my browser on my computer. Go to any site that uses flash - Facebook games, sites with movies, etc.

If an app states that it will run flash, but doesn't run flash on facebook games, or sites with movies, would that entitle me to a refund?

Is there a way to get a trial run on an app before buying it to see if it does what I would like for it to do?

I do understand what you are saying and what you desire to do. I am merely passing along the information.

Many apps have free or lite versions that give you basic functionality that let's you see the basics of what the app can do and they offer paid upgrades if you like what the app can do and how it performs for you. Having said that, unless the app provides that comfort zone option, there are no refunds for apps because they don't live up to your expectations.
