Trying to find a way to present an eight generation family tree. Any ideas?

That's a pretty big tree! I think you would be best investing in dedicated genaeology software - MacFamily Tree, Reunion for Mac, Family Tree Maker or similar.
Thanks - I am using Ancestry.co.uk but it's printing facility appearsless than adequate. Don't want to invest in another piece of software, and unable to find a suitable template on line so I guess it's text bnoxes and lines!
Check out iworkcommunity.com for a template. Or find one on the internet. You can use templates created in Word too. Or just create one your self using text boxes and connecting lines.
So you are not asking about a template for the application Pages? This is the forum for Pages on Macs.
Thanks, Fruhulda - I am looking for a Pages template to use with info I have accumulated on Ancestry - but to no avail.
This I found quite a few sites when searing on "family tree templates". Some free and some you cost a few dollars.
