Hi!!!!

I was having some trouble putting music on my ipod. A set 2 gigs long I put on it showed when i plugged it into my computer.

However, when I went to the car and tried to play it would not show up on it?

I have a macbook Air 2013 and was transferring the music from there. What is the exact process if anyone can help?

Hi Diablo7,

Welcome to the Support Communities!

It sounds like you are syncing the music to your iPod nano correctly, because it is showing on the device in iTunes? So the issue may be with your USB connection in your car.

Here are a couple of articles that may help you with this:

iPod Nano User Guide - Setting up iTunes syncing - page 15

iOS: Troubleshooting car stereo connections

I hope this information helps ...

Hi Judy,

Thanks for your reply. DO you think I should upgrade to the latest I tunes as well.

I figured out this problem.

I still cannot find the file in my car that I put on the nano.

But the way that I resolved it was that I made new playlists which I put my music files on and played the music that way. I gess that was the issue.

But I am going to go over the above links.....
